The schedule shown above represents the O-Phase schedule at the Faculty of Chemistry. The events will take place in presence unless otherwise specified.
All external students who are coming to Göttingen for their Master’s programme in October are of course also welcome to attend some of the orientation week events. Especially the faculty tour on Tuesday will be interesting for you, as well as the pub quiz and bar rallye.
In addition, the Young Chemists Network Göttingen (JCF) is offering two events for new Master students. Everyone who would like to meet new people, get to know Göttingen or learn how to navigate Ecampus is very welcome to join. Both events are organized regularly at the beginning of each winter and summer semester. Further information can be found on the JCF Göttingen website.
The first event will take place on Monday, 20 October. The JCF invites you to a city tour through Göttingen, starting at 5:00 pm at the Gänseliesel. After the tour, there will be a short break to get something to eat, and later the group will meet again at 7:00 pm at the Hemingway (Weender Landstraße 46) for a pub evening. This is a great opportunity to get to know Göttingen and meet new people.
The second event will take place on Friday, 24 October, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. During this session, the JCF will give an introduction to eCampus and stud.IP, explaining how to navigate the platforms, register for courses and exams, and find important information. The meeting point is at 12:00 pm in front of the AC building, or you can come directly to room MN32 in the PC building. The session will be held in German and English so that everyone can follow along easily.

Chemistry teacher training course
The student teachers are cordially invited to every event in the O-phase by the mono-Bachelor students. Of course, the same rules apply here.
Extra information sessions are offered for you separately from the Mono-Bachelor information session. These will take place on Wednesday, 22.10., as well as Thursday, the 23.10. You can find more detailed information here.
